Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a safety‑focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Sheboygan, WI. You will load/unload shipments, track records, and ensure safe operations in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 10,000 lb sit-down forklift to load/unload trailers.
• Ensure loads are secured and in good condition.
• Keep accurate inbound/outbound shipment records.
• Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain a safe work area.
• Support production by staging/delivering raw materials.
• Verify receipts, load sheets, and related paperwork.
• Perform tasks requiring standing, walking, lifting for extended hours.

Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our team in Sheboygan, WI. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping our operations moving by safely loading, unloading, and tracking shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shift Hours:

• 3rd shift: 10 PM - 6 AM
• Candidates should also be available to work overtime and weekends as needed

What You Will Do

• Safely operate a 10,000 lb. sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers
• Ensure loads are properly secured and in good condition
• Ensure accurate record keeping for all inbound and outbound shipments
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
• Support production by staging and delivering raw materials
• Verify receipts, load sheets, and other required paperwork
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least 8 hours a day

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Minimum of six months of sit-down forklift experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or scan gun for documentation and/or record-keeping functions

What Will Put You Ahead

One year or more of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing environment
