Job summary

MAIERS TRANSPORT & Warehousing is seeking a full-time forklift operator to move pallets and materials within our facilities in Minnesota. You will operate a forklift with care to ensure efficiency and safety, including driving around warehouses and outdoor spaces.

A valid forklift certification is required, and experience with clamp trucks and oversized outdoor forklifts is a plus. Responsibilities include loading/unloading various trailers and containers, maintaining inventory records, and

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is preferred.
• Valid forklift certification.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Familiarity with and ability to use industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Loading & unloading van trailers, flatbed trailers, shipping containers & railcars.
• Move pallets and crates from one location to another
• Monitor products for damages, shortages, or quality control issues and report on those issues
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal operation
• Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, legal guidelines, and company policies
• Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Job Summary

Maiers Transport & Warehousing has a full time warehouse position available immediately. We are looking for a forklift operator to move pallets and material around our facilities.

You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The position includes driving around warehouses & outdoor spaces. You must be a responsible individual & have experience in driving forklifts is required. Skilled use of clamp trucks & oversized outdoor forklift is preferred as well as experience with unloading/unloading cardboard.

Applicant must be self-motivated & have the ability to complete paperwork accurately. Personal vehicle required.

Hours are Monday thru Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with flexibility for vacation coverage.
