Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA is hiring a Forklift Operator to support automated warehouse operations and ensure timely material delivery to production lines. You will move materials, load and unload shipments, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in warehousing and forklift operation, certification, and the ability to work with handheld scanners while following safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of warehouse and forklift operating experience.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions and procedures.
  • Strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Deliver materials to production lines in a timely manner to support operational needs.
  • Load, unload, and handle materials from local and international suppliers.
  • Ship finished goods to distribution centers and support warehouse operations.
  • Receive, unpack, and distribute incoming materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Consolidate materials and prepare kits for production work orders.
  • Pick materials and perform inventory transactions using warehouse systems and handheld devices.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support warehouse automation by safely interacting with automated equipment and following established material flows.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and operating procedures.
