Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support the movement of materials in our automated warehouse. You will help ensure production lines receive the right materials at the right time.

Starting pay is $23.03/hr with a 10% night shift premium for the night shift (about $25.33/hr). Work schedules include 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and you will operate forklifts, AGVs, and conveyors to move, load, unload and inventory materials.

Qualifications

  • Combination of 4+ years in warehouse and forklift operating experience.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work at heights while operating turret truck equipment.
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions and operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to use handheld scanners and computer systems to perform inventory transactions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Deliver materials to production lines in a timely manner to support operational needs.
  • Load, unload, and handle materials from local and international suppliers.
  • Ship finished goods to distribution centers and support warehouse operations.
  • Receive, unpack, and distribute incoming materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Consolidate materials and prepare kits for production work orders.
  • Pick materials and perform inventory transactions using warehouse systems and handheld devices.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support warehouse automation by safely interacting with automated equipment and following established material flows.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and operating procedures.

Are you an experienced forklift operator who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment? As a Forklift Operator, you'll support the movement of materials throughout our automated warehouse operation while helping ensure production lines receive the right materials at the right time.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting Pay $23.03/hr.

Schedule 6 00 AM - 6 00 PM or 6 00 PM - 6 00 AM

Night Shift Premium 10% shift differential ($25.33/hr.)

What You'll Do

  • Second language proficiency is a plus.
