Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Forklift Operator in Puyallup, WA, with a 4pm–1:30am schedule. The role involves safely operating powered industrial trucks, loading and unloading materials, and supporting production and shipping activities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifying candidates should have at least 1 year of forklift experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Supply production lines with required materials and remove finished products as needed.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trailers.
• Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Accurately scan and record inventory movements using warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.
• Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain warehouse organization and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory control activities.
• Support housekeeping initiatives and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.

Position Summary

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to operate a forklift safely for extended periods.

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or flexible shifts as business needs require.
