Job summary

Don’s Appliances in Robinson Township, PA, is hiring a dedicated Forklift Operator to receive, store, and prep appliances for delivery. This full-time role requires 1–2 years warehouse experience and at least 2 years forklift experience, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate stand-up/sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with occasional weekend work; a valid driver's license and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Unload distributor delivery truck and store appliances in the warehouse.

• Breakdown trash and empty all recycling.
• Keep warehouses and parking areas clean.
• Perform related tasks as required.

Don’s Appliances is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator responsible for receiving, storing, and preparing appliances for delivery and pickup. This role ensures the accurate handling of products, maintains an organized and safe warehouse environment, and supports the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

Pay Range: $19.50 to $22.00 an hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload distributor delivery truck and properly store appliances in the warehouse.
• Review for any visible damages to appliance or box.
• Un-box and completely prep scheduled appliances for installation. Review for any visible damages.
• Load trucks properly and securely and without damage to appliances.
• Safely unload appliances off our truck and safely add to inventory.
• Breakdown trash and empty all recycling.
• Keep warehouses and parking areas clean.
• Perform related tasks as required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1- 2 years previous warehouse or inventory experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years forklift experience required.

Skills

• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to operate various equipment, including stand-up/sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move heavy appliances safely (up to 75 lbs. or more).
• Ability to work in varied warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations.

Work Location/Hours

• This is a full-time position.
• HQ- Robinson Twp., PA
• Monday through Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm. In addition, the incumbent must be able to participate in occasional weekend work.
