Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola in Pendleton, OR is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products in a fast-paced warehouse with a strong safety focus. You will operate industrial vehicles, load/unload materials, and ensure secure handling of goods.

Schedule is 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $23.01/hr. Must be 18+, forklift certified or willing to train within 1 month, and capable of lifting 50 pounds. Weekend work may be required as directed by the business.

• Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as required by the business.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility.
• Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated areas to meet requirements.
• Load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products to applicable trailers and route trucks.
• Ensure products/materials are stacked, stored, and secured according to policies.
• Load proper dunnage to secure loads on transport trailers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.

What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The forklift operatormoves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high.

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility. Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area to meet requirements. Efficiently load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products / materials in or out of designated trailers and/or route trucks to meet scheduled delivery time. Ensure that products / materials are stacked, stored, and secured in compliance with regulatory/company policies and procedures
• Ensure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etc
• Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
• Ensure proper rotation of product
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
