Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Noti, OR is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move lumber around our yard and processing areas. You will operate forklifts, stack units by width and length, and help maintain accurate counts while supporting timely production.

The role requires 1 year of forklift experience (18,000 lb capacity or more), knowledge of lumber species, and familiarity with Oregon Industrial Truck rules.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating forklifts with weight capacities of 18,000 lbs or more.
• Knowledge of lumber species and widths/lengths of lumber.
• Knowledge of Oregon’s Operating Rules for Industrial Trucks.
• Recent related work history with verifiable references.

Responsibilities

Sierra Pacific effectively uses nearly 100% of every piece of wood we bring to our facilities. In fact, any small amount that isn't turned into hand-crafted doors and windows, millwork, lumber, or landscaping material is actually converted into electricity in our eight biomass-fueled power plants.

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to work collaboratively with our sawmill in Noti, Oregon.

About The Position

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift while keeping pace with production

• Work may consist of some overtime during busy production times

Qualifications
