About The Role

Forklift Operators play a vital role in our success at FritoLay. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including safely operating a forklift to move products around the warehouse. This is a hands-on, physical role that keeps our supply chain running smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a forklift after completing training and certification * Load and unload pallets of products to and from trailers * Place and store products securely in multi-tiered warehouse storage * Pick cases according to orders using required technology * Manage warehouse inventory using handheld scanners and Inventory Control Systems * Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks (e.g., sweeping floors, cleaning trailers, taking out trash) * Work in a physically demanding environment, on your feet for the entire shift * Adapt to a 24-hour operational schedule which may involve irregular shifts

Minimum Qualifications * Must be 18 years of age or older * Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as needed * Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods * Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for long durations * Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products * Willingness and ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts * Comfortable working in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, loud equipment, and slippery surfaces

Preferred Qualifications * Minimum of one year experience operating a forklift or using equipment in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
