Job summary

The TemPositions Group is seeking a Forklift Warehouse Operator for a temp-to-hire role in New York, NY. The position requires forklift certification, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include cargo receiving, moving freight to TSA screening areas, labeling freight, building ULDs, and using WMS and scanners to track cargo. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Teams is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Certified.
• Forklift experience - 2 years.
• Excellent communication skills including reading and writing.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using Excel and Microsoft Teams preferred.

Overview

We are working with a freight forwarding/logistics company who is seeking Forklift Warehouse Operator on a temp to hire basis. The ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and an eagerness to learn along with the ability to follow direction.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday–Saturday schedule, including one 1–10 p.m. shift, with the remaining shifts 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
