Openwork is hiring a reliable Forklift Operator/Order Puller in McDonough, GA. The role involves pulling and staging orders, operating a forklift, and helping ensure smooth daily shipping operations in a fast-paced warehouse.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with a consistent 4-day work week. Overtime and benefits including healthcare, vision, and dental are available. Foxed by end-of-month Fridays and inventory days as mandatory workdays.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately pull and stage orders.

Responsibilities

• Pull UPS orders and stage products for shipment.
• Review pick tickets for accuracy before shipping.
• Process pick slips through UPS WorldShip and ensure labels are available.
• Pull products accurately based on pick slips.
• Stretch-wrap orders and inspect products for damage.
• Safely load/unload products from trailers and operate forklift safely.

Forklift Operator/Order Puller – McDonough, GA | $17/hr

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Forklift Operator/Order Puller in McDonough, GA. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you'll be responsible for accurately pulling and staging orders, preparing products for shipment, operating a forklift, and helping ensure daily shipping operations run smoothly.

In a Forklift Operator/Order Puller Job, You'll Be Responsible For:

• Pulling UPS orders and accurately staging products for shipment.
• Reviewing pick tickets to ensure items are correct and properly prepared for shipping.
• Processing pick slips through UPS WorldShip and ensuring labels and supplies are available and operational.
• Pulling products accurately and efficiently based on pick slips.
• Stretch-wrapping orders and inspecting products for damage before shipment.
• Properly staging orders for loading.
• Safely loading and unloading products from trailers.
• Operating a forklift while following all safety regulations.
• Maintaining current forklift certification.
• Assisting packers and other departments as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and tidy work area.

What You'll Need:

• Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately pull and stage orders.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and maintain current certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work overtime as assigned by management.
