Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Sit-Down Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and move liquor products within our Louisville distribution center. Responsibilities include operating sit-down forklifts, stacking pallets, pulling orders, performing daily inspections, and keeping the warehouse organized; hours are 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM with various shifts.

This role requires 1–4 years experience, a forklift certification if possible, ability to lift 50 lbs, reliability, and strong safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts safely to load and unload trucks and move inventory.
• Stack, organize, and store pallets and products in designated warehouse areas.
• Pick, pull, and stage orders accurately according to work orders or instructions.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (e.g., inventory counts, cleaning, etc.).
