Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our Lithia Springs, GA plant on 1st shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with overtime as needed. You will ship/receive products, follow schedules, and work with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Proficient forklift/walkie rider operation; driving test will be given at interview.

• Use forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship and/or receive products timely.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down forklift.
• Ensure all finished product meets quality standards.
• Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with overtime as needed. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days.You will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by shipping and/or receiving products timely and accurately. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. Our Forklift Operators are not sitting on a lift throughout the shift - There is frequent movement which includes lifting. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance in your career with Custom Building Products.
