Job summary

CRH is seeking a Yard/Industrial Forklift Operator for its Oldcastle Infrastructure operations in Tennessee. The role involves moving, organizing, and assisting in the production of precast concrete products, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The candidate will operate forklifts and loaders, stage orders for shipment, and interface with delivery personnel. A high school diploma and 2+ years of heavy equipment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with >18k lb capacity preferred.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets.
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

Job Summary
