UFP Industries, Inc. seeks a Forklift Operator I in Las Vegas, NV to move material between inventory and production, ensure accurate paperwork, and support production scheduling.

You will perform material handling, label and package finished goods, and keep yards organized. The role requires at least 18 years old, basic math skills, and successful completion of forklift licensing; no prior experience required though forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required, forklift driving experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process from one station to another.
• Band, wrap and/or pack finished goods, and label material.
• Move finished goods from production area to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report problems.
• Maintain inventory yard organized and clean.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
