We're looking for a Forklift Operator in the Manufacturing industry located in Lakeland, Florida, 33815, United States.

Our client has immediate openings for experienced Forklift Operators at our manufacturing facility in Lakeland, FL. Current shifts are Day (7am to 7pm) and Night (7pm to 7am), on a rotating schedule.

We offer medical benefits. Salary is up to $19 per hour, based on qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Follow all safety, health, quality GMP, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
2. Perform safety inspections on lift trucks, check batteries, and report any equipment issues.
3. Change lift truck batteries, add water when needed, and record maintenance activities.
4. Participate in quality improvement projects and related activities.
5. Review daily production schedules with the Shift Supervisor and ensure materials are available for production.
6. Remove finished goods from production lines and store them appropriately.
7. Provide accurate documentation of materials unloaded, used, or produced.
8. Manage production scrap, including baling and storing scrap materials.
9. Maintain proper storage and stacking of finished goods and raw materials.
10. Verify finished goods have product code tags before removal.
11. Participate in physical inventory counts.
12. Assist with stock handling and trailer loading as needed during low production periods.
13. Handle various materials and supplies, including rework and quality control units.
14. Follow safety procedures for forklift operation and complete checklists.
15. Report damaged goods and inventory issues to supervisors.
16. Communicate shift and machine totals with team members.
17. Complete necessary documentation and reports.
18. Assist with break relief for teammates.
19. Use forklift to move and stage finished products and raw materials.
20. Inspect pallets for quality and packaging conformity.
