Position Title: Forklift Operator



Wage: $17.00/Hour



Shift: 1st Shift



Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday - Friday With Possible Overtime on Saturday

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

- Loads and unloads trucks and rail cars

- Moves materials and other products from storage to work areas and vice versa as required

- Breaks packs to correct size and labels material before loading product onto a truck or rail car

- Perform routine post and pre operation inspections to ensure that the forklift is in proper, working condition

- Maintain yard and ensure it is organized and clean

- Complete paperwork as required

- Follows all company forklift rules and policies



Requirements For Forklift Operator:

- Must be able to sit, stand and walk throughout the entire shift

- Must be able to climb in and out of the forklift repetitively throughout the shift

- Must be able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull and climb throughout the shift

- Must have good hand/eye coordination

- Must have basic math skills and be able to read a ruler

- Must be able to work SAFELY, always being safety conscious. Safety is the #1 priority at this location
