Job summary

Lignetics is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations in New Hampshire. You will load and unload trucks, transport and stack bagged wood pellets, and ensure accurate inventory and safe storage for shipment.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, inventory counts, verifying shipments, performing daily equipment inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse. Experience and a willingness to complete training are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to complete company forklift training.
• Ability to count inventory, perform basic math, and read shipping docs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load/unload trucks and transport finished products.
• Move, stack, and organize bagged wood pellets in designated storage areas.
• Count inventory, verify quantities, and report discrepancies.
• Verify outgoing shipments against packing slips and shipping docs.
• Ensure loads are secured, documented, and sealed for shipment.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and storage area.
• Assist with production and material handling as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Lignetics is a leading manufacturer of renewable wood products with over 30 years of experience. We transform recycled wood materials into high-quality products, including wood pellets for home heating and grilling, animal bedding, and wood fiber-based cat litter.

Summary

Lignetics is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting and stacking tons of finished wood pellets, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and ensuring products are safely stored and prepared for shipment.

Forklift Operator Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and transport finished products throughout the facility.
• Move, stack, and organize tons of bagged wood pellets in designated storage areas.
• Count finished product inventory, verify quantities, and report discrepancies.
• Verify outgoing shipments against packing slips, weight tickets, and shipping documentation.
• Ensure outgoing loads are properly secured, documented, and sealed.
• Move and wrap completed products for storage or shipment.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and storage area.
• Assist with production and other material handling duties as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Forklift, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete company Forklift training.
• Ability to accurately count inventory, perform basic math, and read shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
