Hans-Mill Corp in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations. The role centers on unloading/loading goods, moving items to shelves, and ensuring accurate handling within a manufacturing warehouse.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of warehouse experience, forklift skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. OSHA safety practices and strong attention to detail are essential; typical schedule is Monday–Friday with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts safely and responsibly and complete company certification in compliance with OSHA 29CFR.
• Unloading items or goods from the truck into the manufacturing warehouse from where they will be transferred to shelves/racking.
• Properly arranging or storing of unloaded items in the warehouse.
• Sorting of inbound goods.
• Identify and annotate missing or damaged items.
• Participates in cleaning and organizing the warehouse.
• Assist in checking/ labeling orders to ship to internal or external customers.
• Loading outbound trailers.
• Participates in all cycle count activities.
• Any other tasks asked to complete.

Position Summary

This position is a key role in HMC's daily operation. A Forklift Operators primary responsibility is unloading or loading at the manufacturing warehouse

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts safely and responsibly and complete company certification in compliance with OSHA 29CFR
• Responsible for unloading items or goods from the truck into the manufacturing warehouse from where they will be transferred to shelves/racking.
• Aside from offloading or unloading trucks, his/her job description also entails properly arranging or storing of unloaded items in the warehouse.
• Sorting of inbound goods
• Identify and annotate correctly any missing or damage items
• participates in cleaning and organizing the warehouse
• Assist in checking/or labeling orders to ship to internal or external customers
• Loading outbound trailers
• Participates in ALL cycle count activities
• Any other tasks asked to complete

• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory software

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (occasional overtime may be required)

7am-330pm Monday thru Friday. Or 6am-4:30pm Monday thru Thursday.
