Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Temp-To-Perm Material Handlers in Inwood, West Virginia. The role offers weekly pay and opportunities to grow into a permanent position. Night shift runs 7:00pm–7:00am with a rotating weekly schedule.

Responsibilities include warehouse functions, forklift operation, and cycle counting, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift certification, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:00am; Rotating weekly schedule
• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday (48 Hours)
• Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, & Thursday (36 Hours)

Equipment: Sit-Down Forklifts & High Reach Forklifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
