Job summary

SpartanNash in Indianapolis is seeking a forklift operator to move, load, unload, and stage merchandise within a busy warehouse environment.

Requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of forklift experience; certification may be preferred. You will work 5 days per week (Sun-Fri) with start times between 7:00am and 10:00am, and must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. SpartanNash is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Position Summary:

Responsible to operate a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate and stack merchandise. Responsible for pulling and staging orders for deliver; unload inbound and load outbound shipments and move products to dispersing trailers. Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and maintain facility's equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
