Job summary

Austin Wood Recycling Inc is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely move palletized products from the production area to the inventory pad and assist with daily operations in a Texas outdoor setting.

The role requires forklift/Spyder certification, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, tolerance for outdoor work in all weather, a willingness to work up to 60 hours weekly, and a pre-employment drug screen; bilingual candidates are a plus. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Forklift/Spyder experience is required; certification is required.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods, walk for short periods; bend and stoop as needed.
• Work outside in all weather and dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport palletized product via forklift from production area to inventory pad.
• Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
• Follow all SOPs and processes related to transporting product within and from the production area.
• Safety gear must be worn at all times (safety toe shoes/boots, vest, hard hat, gloves).
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by management.
