Job summary

Job description

Essential Functions:

• Load and unload trucks operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts


• Receives and unpacks materials and supplies


• Operates forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials


• Supply plant with needed materials using the forklift


• ability to work under general supervision in a shop environment


• This position could involve a wide variety of job conditions and the possibility of off-hour responsibilities for plant facilities, which are unique to the facilities maintenance function.


• Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner


• Understand and follow oral and written instructions


• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and workers


• Must adhere to company policies and procedures


• Performs other functions/duties as required

Essential Requirements:

• High School education (GED)


• 2-3 years experience in the field or in a related area


• Basic computer skills, and/or other required software
