Enerflex is a premier integrated global provider of energy infrastructure solutions and we are hiring a Forklift Operator in Houston, TX. You will operate forklifts safely, move items up to 15,000 pounds, and maintain logs while following site procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a busy industrial environment, with opportunities to contribute to efficient material handling and overall operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 0–4 years of related experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification required.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods in unfavorable weather conditions.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
• May rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required including fluid and filter changes.

Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the operation of forklift in a safe and effective manner. The operator will lift and pull items from 5,000 – 15,000 pounds.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Operates motorized equipment used to move piping, vessels, engine compressors and coolers.
• Will drive lifts from 5,000 – 15,000 lbs.
• Will also lift and move 12X18 pallets with spotters to watch skid movement.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum 0 – 4 years of related experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience lifting, push and pull a minimum of 5,000 pounds repeatedly.
• Certification required.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods in unfavorable weather conditions.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
• May rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required including fluid and filter changes.

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Physical Requirements

Industrial environment with exposure to imposed conditions under which the work must be performed and which create hardship for the incumbent including physical demands and environmental conditions. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
