Join to apply for the FORKLIFT OPERATOR role at 1-800-PACK-RAT.

Looking to hire a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to work in our warehouse. Our forklifts are 18-ton propane-powered sit-down lifts. You will be responsible for stacking containers that weigh up to 10,000 pounds up to 35 feet high.

The position requires the ability to work on Saturdays, diligence, and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Essential Functions

• Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision).
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Move materials using hand carts and pallet jacks.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pressure washing.
• Shop clean-up.
• Able to complete forklift training and operate a forklift safely.
• Perform welding tasks with various equipment.
• Weld plastic (roofs/panels).
• Perform cutting operations utilizing standard shop equipment.
• Fabricate from drawings or verbal instructions with limited supervision.
• Safely rig materials for lifting.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including OSHA regulations.
• Schedule maintenance for forklifts and delivery trucks.
• Load containers and unload new container inventory.
• Scan and upload contracts and documents into IT servers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
