Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to move pallets and materials within our Houston warehouse. You will support production and trailer loading/unloading, hand-sort pallets, and repair damaged pallets as needed. A safety‑conscious, reliable team player is essential.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, forklift experience, and willingness to work overtime. The role offers hourly pay, overtime opportunities, and a benefits package for full‑time staff in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort wooden pallets, when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment.

Job Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll move pallets and other materials throughout the warehouse, supporting production and loading/unloading customer trailers. The role also involves hand‑sorting pallets and repairing damaged wooden pallets as needed. This position is vital to the success of our Relogistics site.

What You’ll Do

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
