Job summary

Primero Staffing is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator in Hickory, NC to safely operate a forklift, move products between storage areas and loading docks, and participate in daily warehouse tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

You will perform loading/unloading, assist with inventory counts, inspect equipment, and help ensure timely order fulfillment. Prior forklift certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift operation experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Forklift operator certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move products and materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, shipping containers, and other vehicles.
• Inventory management: track inventory, perform stock counts, and update records in the system.
• Inspect products for defects and report any damage or discrepancies.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at Primero Staffing. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklift: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move products and materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks, shipping containers, and other vehicles.
• Inventory Management: Accurately track inventory, perform stock counts, and update records in the inventory management system.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any damage or discrepancies.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues or needed repairs.
• Order Fulfillment: Assist in order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in forklift operating is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Valid Forklift operator certification preferred but not required.
• Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines within a warehouse setting.
