Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Forklift Operator in Havre de Grace, MD. You will move materials between warehouse and production, using a forklift and RF scanner to maintain accurate inventory and prepare goods for shipping.

The role requires at least one year of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work a 12-hour rotating schedule (7 pm–7 am) with significant overtime potential, and enjoy comprehensive benefits.

Plastipak Forklift Operators safely and efficiently move & store finished goods and raw materials between the warehouse and production areas. Associates take pride in maintaining our high standards of quality products and our positive team culture.

You Will

• Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas
• Use RF scanning device to scan goods and properly maintain inventory
• Load finished goods to ship to customers
• Grow knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• Able to work days 7 pm – 7 am
• Schedule cycles are 3 days on, 2 day off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat
• Able to work overtime, as needed
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid driver license
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience is required
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to be a productive team member
• Physical requirement includes able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
