Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain in Greenfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, pick, and replenish inventory using Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Dock Stocker. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

You will operate MHE, weigh items when needed, and use a WMS to support efficient inventory control while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at our distribution center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to work at various heights safely, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
• Experience operating an electronic handheld scanner and tablet.

Responsibilities

• Drive various types of MHE, including Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Dock Stockers, and Pallet Jacks.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, placing, and moving stock to meet standards.
• Operate scales to weigh products and materials as required for inventory accuracy.

• Perform inbound receiving procedures, including inspecting for compliance or trailer issues.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting from pallets and bending when handling pallets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety policies.

Job Overview

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring Forklift Operators to support our distribution center located in Greenfield, IN. As a Forklift Operator, you will be utilizing a Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker to load, unload, pick, and replenish product from trucks, containers, or bulk locations within the warehouse. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match and a monthly bonus opportunity!

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm
• Starting pay - $21.00 per hour

Job Details

What to expect as a Forklift Operator:

• Drive various types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including but not limited to: Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Dock Stockers, and Pallet Jacks.
• High focus on accuracy when picking, placing, and moving stock to ensure organizational standards.
• Operate scales to weigh products and materials as required for inventory accuracy.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for efficient inventory tracking, task assignment, and process management.
• Perform inbound receiving procedures, including inspecting and identifying any compliance or trailer issues.
• Perform physical tasks, including manually lifting product from pallets, including from rack heights, and bending when separating mixed pallets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One-year of Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to work at various heights safely, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
• Ability to operate an electronic handheld scanner and tablet
• Must be punctual with a demonstrated attendance record
• Flexible to work overtime; including weekends
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
