Job summary

Fettig Jobs is seeking Forklift Operators for all shifts in the Grand Rapids, MI area. You will operate hi-lo equipment to move materials, load/unload trucks, and prepare work stations for production.

Experience with forklift operation is encouraged; candidates should be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted and work in a dusty environment. Weekly pay, paid training, and health insurance are offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate hi-lo machinery to move material safely and efficiently.

Job description

Forklift Operators needed for all shifts within the Grand Rapids, MI area!

Individuals in this role will be primarily responsible for safely and efficiently operating Hi-lo machinery to move material around a manufacturing facility. This may include, but will not be limited to loading and unloading trucks, moving raw material around the plant, transporting parts from one area to another, and preparing workspaces for production. Those with forklift operating experience are encouraged to apply!

Forklift Operator Shift Details:

• All Shifts
• Possible overtime
• $17+ per hour
• Move product safely and efficiently with hi-lo machinery
• Utilize pallet jacks and other material movers (not always hi-lo or forklift)
• Load/unload trucks
• Possible use of RFID scanners
• Prepare work stations with necessary materials
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted
