Join to apply for the Forklift Operator role at Ohio Logistics

We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll use powered industrial trucks to move product throughout the warehouse and load/unload trailers per customer specifications. You'll also inspect inbound and outbound freight, ensure products are stored properly, and help keep operations running smoothly. If you take pride in doing the job right, can keep your head on a swivel, and aren't afraid to hustle, this is the place for you.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Load/unload trailers and move product to designated warehouse locations
• Pick orders accurately - including building mixed pallets
• Use RF scanners for tracking and inventory control
• Audit incoming shipments to ensure packing lists match contents
• Prepare pallets for shipment (wrapping, banding, etc.)
• Inspect loads for damage and report discrepancies
• Perform equipment checks and report issues
• Maintain clean, safe working conditions
• Communicate clearly with team members and leadership
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Pitch in on manual labor and other tasks as needed

• Basic math and counting skills
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting
  
  

Physical & Environmental Conditions

• Frequent lifting, bending, and standing
• Exposure to moderate-to-high noise
• Working near heavy machinery
• Indoor and outdoor tasks - temperatures may vary
