Job summary

RSI Group (SmartCap) is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our production team. You will safely operate sit-down forklifts and other powered equipment to move, stage, load, unload, and transport materials across the facility, supporting production and inventory accuracy with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and 1+ years of forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Valid forklift certification or license is required.
• At least 1 year of forklift operator experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled production environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts and powered equipment.
• Move, stage, load, unload, stack, and transport materials.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate shortages, damaged products, or safety concerns to supervisors.

This position is responsible for safely operating industrial forklifts and other powered equipment to move, organize, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
