Position Details

This position is on a 7am-7pm schedule with a 2-2-3 rotation.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Machine Operator and Bag Inspectors/Packers in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, complying with all safety policies.
2. Maintain stock at the conveyor end of the department, including pallets and corrugated cases.
3. Operate a forklift to press, strap, and wrap completed boxes and cases.
4. Under the guidance of Machine Operators, gather adhesives, corrugated cases, paperboard slip sheets, and other materials.
5. Assist in packing finished products as needed.
6. Transport paper waste to the baler, operate the baler, and make bales when full.
7. Record inventory upon completion of boxes.
8. Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and wear required PPE.
9. Work every other weekend, with overtime and holiday work as needed.

Qualifications

• In-house forklift training provided. Some experience preferred but not required.
