Job summary

Staffmark in Fife, WA is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials, load and unload trucks, and maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Requires 1 year sit-down forklift experience, 6 months warehouse experience, and the ability to pass forklift exams. Pay rate is $21.50 per hour, with Monday–Friday shifts and some weekend work during peak periods.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.

What You Will Do

As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.
