Job summary

Blue Triangle Hardwoods, a member of The Baillie Group, is seeking a Forklift Operator in Everett, PA for first shift. The role focuses on operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate, organize, and move materials as needed.

The position offers full-time hours with competitive pay and a full benefits plan. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs and have prior warehouse experience; some duties may include production support and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift of 10,000 lbs. and heavier.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience in the last 2 years is preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and organized.
• Willingness to work in outside environment.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• High School degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in a warehouse setting.
• When not driving, assist with other production work as needed.
• Identify the sort numbers for the carts and pull boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the boards.
• Assist in all areas of production.
• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Work independently with a high level of precision.

This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a world class lumber organization as a first shift forklift operator. The positions primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate/organize/move material as needed.

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Operating forklift in a warehouse setting
• When not driving a forklift, employee may be asked to complete other work as needed
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Identify the sort numbers for the carts you are responsible for. Pull boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the boards.
• Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
• High School degree preferred, but not required.
• Assist in all areas of production
• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently
• Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift of 10,000 lbs. and heavier required
• Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years
• Must be self motivated and organized
• Willingness to work in outside environment
• Willingness to work overtime
• Locating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for orders
• Ability to work independently
