Job summary

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company in Elma, NY, is seeking reliable Forklift Operators to join the warehouse team. The role emphasizes safe, efficient movement of finished goods, accurate inventory control, and adherence to food safety standards.

Shifts available include 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). Pay ranges from $18.50 to $19.50 per hour, with a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift certification preferred; candidates must be able to obtain certification if not currently certified.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with handheld barcode scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport finished goods throughout the facility.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products per food safety and quality standards.
• Follow all plant-wide policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with pedestrians and other team members while operating equipment.
• Work safely within confined-space racking systems.
• Maintain a basic understanding of warehouse finished-goods storage procedures.
• Use handheld barcode scanning systems to track and move products.
• Complete required equipment and warehouse documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
