Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast in Connecticut is seeking a Forklift Operator to move product and materials in a production or warehouse setting. You will operate industrial vehicles, load/unload trailers, and support shipping and receiving.

Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using power tools and vehicles.

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area
• Load and unload trailers and/or route trucks
• Move product and/or materials manually as required
• Assist with shipping and receiving functions as directed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of prior warehouse, stocking or forklift experience preferred
• Must have the ability to lift, carry and position product weighing up to 50 pounds above shoulder height without assistance
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
