Department: Warehouse Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Warehouse Coordinator/Manager Grade/Level: Amount of Travel Required: None Job Type: Regular Positions Supervised: None Work Schedule: Varies POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for utilizing a forklift for general warehouse operations; to include loading and unloading trucks, product movement and rotation. Essential Functions Statement(s) * Required to load and unload trucks by hand or forklift. * Required to move product in order to insure correct rotation based on date coding. * Required to validate BOL's against actual load, notifying Inventory Coordinator of any discrepancies. * Required to insure loads are properly wrapped by machine or hand. * Required to build pallets accurately according to loading documents. * Required to insure current safety policies are adhered to by all transport drivers. * Required to verify load seal against the BOL. * Required to maintain and swap out electric batteries and/or propane tanks. * Required to assist in product movement between warehouses as requested. * Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules. * Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor. * Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Company and Division provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other Company provided method. (Must successfully complete quarterly training curriculum, including but not limited to web-based and facilitated training.)
