Job summary

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and ability to operate stand-up forklifts.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days.
• Sufficient math skills for counting and weights.
• Reading/writing in English preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs or willingness to learn GMPs.

Our client, a leading food manufacturer,is seeking a Material Handlerto join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Production departmentsupporting all warehouse departments as needed. The ideal candidate will have stand up forklift experience, excellent communication skillsand organization which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Des Plaines/Elk Grove Village, IL

Pay Range: $20.20/hr
Shifts: ALL Shifts available! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

What’s the Job?

• Operates forklifts, handcarts or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle and load/unload orders
• Count, weigh, record numbers of units or materials moved or handled
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner

What’s Needed?

• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days
• Ability to operate stand-up and extended forklifts
• Sufficient math skills
• Ability to read and write in English is preferred
• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs or willingness to learn
