Job summary

Relogistics Services in Denton, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to move pallets and support production needs across the warehouse. You will load and unload trailers, sort pallets by hand, and repair pallets as needed while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification preferred, and 1–3 years of forklift experience. Overtime is expected, with competitive pay of $19.00/hour and benefits offered by Relogistics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Contribute to overall site efficiency and pallet management workflow.

Job description

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay

$19.00/hr

1st Shift: Monday - Wednesday 5:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday 5:00am - 11:00am

3rd Shift: Thursday 11:00am - 5:00pm
Friday - Sunday 5:00am - 5:00pm

4th Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:00pm - 5:00am

What You'll Do

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
