Job summary

Vervic Inc. in Decatur, AL is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. You will safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility, in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes safety.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience, a commitment to safety, and the ability to stand, lift, and work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We offer a four-day work week, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse
• Transport wood paneling, sheetrock, and other materials to designated locations
• Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and storage practices
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
