Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Forklift Operator role based in Columbia, MO. The Forklift Operator will safely operate forklifts and related equipment to move, load, and unload materials in the warehouse and yard. Day-to-day responsibilities include receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities, organizing materials, and preparing products for outbound shipments. The role also involves assisting with packing and staging orders, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and following all company safety policies and procedures. The Forklift Operator will collaborate with shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure accurate, timely material flow.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Forklift Operation skills, including safe driving, loading, and unloading of materials.
• Candidates should possess Shipping & Receiving skills, with the ability to verify orders, check documentation, and manage inventory movement.
• Candidates should possess Material Handling skills, including organizing, storing, and moving products in warehouse and yard environments.
• Candidates should possess Unloading and Packing skills to efficiently process incoming materials and prepare outbound orders.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification, and familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and reliable time management.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is beneficial.
