Job summary

Coca-Cola UNITED is seeking an Operator - Forklift 1 for our Tennessee Valley division. Schedule: Monday – Friday; 4pm – 2:30am, with weekends and overtime as needed.

The role moves product using powered industrial equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy in inbound/outbound handling. You will verify inventories, stack loads, perform housekeeping, and conduct daily forklift inspections while following all warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Forklift experience preferred
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment following safety policy
• Verify all product, full goods, and raw materials inbound/outbound
• Stack loads properly and perform general housekeeping
• Conduct daily forklift inspections
• Correctly rotate product/materials and follow warehouse procedures

Job Description

The Operator - Forklift 1 is responsible for safely moving product using powered industrial equipment.

What your day will look like

• Operation of powered industrial equipment while following UNITED safety policy
• Verify all product/full goods/raw materials incoming and outgoing
• Stacking loads properly
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Correctly rotate product/materials
• Responsible for following all warehouse operating procedures
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• Less than high school education; or up to 1-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
• Ability to work with all functional team members

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
