US FOODS is seeking Forklift Operators who can operate industrial forklifts to move pallets from dock to designated warehouse slots, and lower stock to ground level pick slots during day and night shifts.

You will perform safety checks (battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher), report damage, keep aisles clean, and support inventory accuracy while contributing to on-time order fulfillment. Training provided with overtime eligibility and competitive benefits.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related Experience: Job-related certification for Material Handling Equipment; Prior Selector and/or Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklift to move pallets from dock to designated warehouse slots using powered industrial equipment.
• Transport material to and from storage areas and loading dock.
• Perform safety checks (battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher) and keep records of damage.
• Replenish pick slots and maintain inventory accuracy; ensure clean aisles and safe passage.

Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading dock. Operate forklift/high-lift in order to lower stock to ground level pick-level slots from higher level reserve slots during night shift & day shift, and to put received stock in higher level storage slots during the day shift using safe operating practices.Main Ingredients of the JobAs a US FOODS Forklift Operator you will be critical to the US FOODS team and one of the important faces of our organization Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.Transports pallet loads of product from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment and insures all pallets are secure in designated slots to avoid damage or injury when product is selected.Replenishes pick slots with product from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selection.Performs operations and safety check, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.Records all product, equipment and warehouse damage.Maintains the cleanliness of aisles by removing any debris from floor and racks.What you bring to the tableHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredRelated Experience: Job-related certification for Material Handling Equipment; Prior Selector and/or Forklift experience is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); must be able to understand Voxware commands.Great Forklift Operators are crucial to the US Foods team and one of the important faces of our organization.
