Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to move pallets, load and unload at dock and storage areas. You will operate forklift/high-lift to access stock across cooler, freezer, and dry areas, supporting both night and day shifts with safe practices.

Celebrated for internal growth, paid training, and benefits, this role offers overtime and a base hourly pay starting at $20.16 with potential to $25.16 per hour. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and safe warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED preferred.
• Job-related certification for Material Handling Equipment; Prior Selector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial forklift to move pallets from dock to warehouse slots.
• Transports pallet loads to correct slots and ensures pallets are secure to prevent damage.
• Replenishes pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift.
• Performs safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
• Maintains cleanliness of aisles and follows all safety policies.
