Job summary

Pine Hall Brick Company is seeking a forklift operator to load, unload, transport and stack materials in our yard and on the loading dock.

This role also involves manual material handling and assisting customers with pricing and product availability, while learning our order processing system. You will learn different products and applications and work a reliable daytime schedule from Monday to Friday, with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required.
• Must work safely at all times.
• Must adapt to new situations and multitask.
• Able to load materials onto various vehicles.

Responsible for operating a forklift/loader in order to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. Manually load or unload materials.

Requirements

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting.
• Operate or tend to automatic shrink-wrap machines.
• Ability to load materials in or onto various vehicles.
• Perform routine cleaning and strapping of brick on yard.
• Learn order processing and product inquiry system.
• Assist customers with pricing and availability.
• Learn different products and applications.

Educational, Experience, & Skill Requirements

• Forklift license required (will certify with Pine Hall Brick.)
• Must work safely at all times.
• Must adapt to new situations and be able to multitask.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, climb, and bend regularly.

7:30 am – 4:30 pm
