Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Non-Exempt forklift operator to safely operate heavy equipment and move concrete products in an industrial setting. This role requires attention to safety and efficient handling of materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will load and unload from trucks, verify shipping documents, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with team members on yard organization and site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass forklift training program.
• At least 1 year forklift experience moving up to 20,000 lbs.
• Able to read/write simple instructions and communicate with team.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs periodically.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as 36K forklifts, front-end loaders, shuttle lifts, and skid steer.
• Organize product in the yard through communication with other team members.
• Safely load and unload product from flatbed trucks and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation.
• Inspect equipment before and after use, adhere to on-site safety protocols and regulations.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to move metal forms and concrete products.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as 36K forklifts, front-end loaders, shuttle lifts, and skid steer
• Organize product in the yard through communication with other team members
• Safely load and unload product from flatbed trucks and box trailers
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation
• Inspect equipment before and after use, adhere to on-site safety protocols and regulations
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass internal forklift training program
• At least one year of forklift experience moving weights of 20,000 lbs preferred
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day
