The Forklift Operator will work in multiple areas of the operation and perform a variety of tasks, including pulling product from the reserves as well as product to the pick mods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment to include Reach Lifts, Pacers, or Sit-Down
  • Perform forklift put away, picking, and running
  • Operate on-board computer with Radio Frequency (RF) scanner
  • Keep work areas safe and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience with Forklift and Radio Frequency (RF) scanner
  • Warehouse Management for Open Systems (WMOS) or Extensive Pick Ticket Management System (PkMS) knowledge of operational flow for inventory research on demand
  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience with Reach Lifts or Pacers
  • Must possess the ability to operate on-board computer with Radio Frequency (RF) scanner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Furniture warehouse experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, lift, push or pull up to 70 lbs throughout the day
  • Comfortable walking/standing throughout the day
