Ryder is hiring a Temp to Hire Material Handler in Burlington, NC, offering weekly pay and a career you can feel good about. Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly.

Shift: Mon-Fri 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM. Duties include forklift operation, accurate order processing, and maintaining safety standards in a clean, well-run facility. Paid training and safety gear provided; overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience required.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into computer system.
• Work overtime as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions affect the customer.
• Recognize damaged product and take appropriate action.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify pallets and stage location.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability.
• Follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures.
• May train others in warehouse functions and operate powered equipment.
• Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $16.00 per hour
• Shift Pay: $1.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

• Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
• May be required to train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of various powered industrial lift equipmen, perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
• Operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery
