Job summary

Altium Packaging in Buena Park, California is seeking a Forklift Operator to stack and retrieve materials while adhering to GMPs and safety standards. Responsibilities include loading trucks, securing products, and ensuring raw materials are available for production lines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and current OSHA forklift certification. Overtime may be required to meet business needs; overtime will be compensated accordingly according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials.
• Load trucks and secure products per customer requirements.
• Monitor material usage and keep production lines stocked with raw materials.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags or production schedules.
• Inventory products and assist with labeling, sorting, wrapping and tying as needed.
• Unload and stack material using lifting devices as directed by management.

Location Address:6211 Descanso Ave, Buena Park, California 90620Work Shift:8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesLoad trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirementsLoad and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting deviceMonitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materialsWeigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedulesKeep production lines supplied with raw materialsInventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie productUnload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting deviceOther duties as assigned by managementReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Minimum Requirements:Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Current OSHA forklift driving certificationThe requirements listed above are minimum requirements for the job.
